Fenway was everything I envisioned it to be. It had a similar but unsurprising feel to Wrigley in that it was very traditional. I got a chance to take a peak from the Green Monster, and that was really cool. It immediately became a bucket list item to sit up there for a full game despite the outrageous prices.
Just as they were at Gillette, fans were very loyal and into their team. It was a Yanks/Sox game, but tensions weren’t as noticeable as one would think, probably mainly because the game didn’t have any major implications whatsoever.
Nonetheless it was a great ball park and one that everyone should check out in their lifetime, along with Wrigley.
