Week 16: Must-Watch Games

The Thursday Night games are finally done, and we now have two Saturday games before a full slate on Christmas Eve Sunday. Unfortunately, the Saturday games are barely watchable. Truly, the Sunday games aren’t that much better. Here are a couple that are “must-watch” in my opinion.

1 p.m.

Falcons @ Saints

  • Big game with even bigger playoff implications. The Falcons haven’t been all that impressive this season, while the Saints and Panthers are the class of the best division in football. But the Falcons have a legitimate chance to get hot at the perfect time. It would start with a huge win in New Orleans.

4:25 p.m.

Seahawks @ Cowboys

  • The Seahawks are imploding after getting destroyed by the Rams at home last Sunday. There have been quarrels in the locker room, rumors about Pete Carroll’s departure, and injuries that have hurt the team’s identity on and off the field. The Cowboys get Ezekiel Elliott back in another must-win game. This could be a trap game, or it could tell us that the Seahawks’ mini era of dominance is finally coming to a complete stop. Either way, it should be entertaining, and it’s the best game of the afternoon.
