Season Picks: 4-5-1
After a rough couple weeks, I finally bounced back last week with a big Raiders win on the road. I’m 1-0 with Thursday night picks (Jets over Bills), so I’m looking to keep that momentum going tonight.
Cardinals -3 (buy .5 point)
The Cardinals absolutely need a win. Their season is likely over if they lose and fall to 1-4 in a tough division, especially against a team like the 49ers. The Cardinals are without Carson Palmer, but I’m not too worried. Drew Stanton is at least as competent as Blaine Gabbert, and I think the Cardinals have better weapons on offense, plus a way better defense. The Niners are without NaVorro Bowman, and I think that’s arguably as big of a deal as Palmer being out. I expect a huge night from David Johnson, and the Cardinals should bounce back and get back on the right track.
Teaser: Cardinals +2.5, Bills +8, Bengals +5
The Bills have looked pretty good recently, and I expect the Rams to come back down to earth. I’m confident the Bills can keep this a one-score game.
The Bengals defense should be Dak Prescott’s biggest test, and Dallas isn’t a great team at home. I think this will be a close game (hence the actual game spread), and I feel comfortable rolling with the Bengals.
