Construction Cost: $123 million ($1.07 billion total cost as of 2013)
Home of the New York Knicks, the New York Rangers (NHL), and other professional teams, The Garden is host to many major events and attractions. I’ve gone for Knicks games, NCAA Tournament Games, and even a concert or two.
The Garden is one of the most renown attractions in New York, a city that is known for major attractions. That being said, it’s definitely worth visiting for the atmosphere and surroundings in itself. As for attending games or events, there’s not a bad seat in The Garden. It’s a must-visit arena as a sports fan.
Like the Barclays, commuting could be a pain. Taking the train is recommended, but you can definitely find parking in the heart of the city and make your way to the arena. Either way, I would recommend going to The Garden, regardless if the Knicks are a good team or not.
